Coinbase, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that it will be hosting a forum for US presidential candidates ahead of the 2024 election.

The forum scheduled for December 11th at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics aims to educate and inform politicians about the advantages of blockchain technology and digital assets.

This event follows the launch of Coinbase's "Stand With Crypto" initiative earlier this year, which has been ongoing for 14 months.

In September, Brian Armstrong, Coinbase CEO, predicted that crypto policy would be a crucial issue in the 2024 U.S. general elections.

Coinbase has taken a leadership role in advocating for policies that support the cryptocurrency industry. The company's influence goes beyond being a simple exchange, and it's using that influence to drive positive change.

As of December 5th, three presidential candidates have confirmed their attendance at the December 11th 'Stand With Crypto' event.

These candidates include Dean Phillips, Asa Hutchinson, and Vivek Ramaswamy. The meeting will address various aspects of digital assets and is open to other presidential candidates, including Donald Trump, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, Doug Burgum, Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, and Chris Christie.

Several notable politicians and leaders have been invited to participate, including former Governor Asa Hutchinson, Representative Dean Phillips, and Governor Doug Burgum. The forum is expected to provide valuable insights into the candidates' views on crypto and its future in the United States.

Coinbase's 'Stand With Crypto' campaign aims to bring together the 2024 U.S. presidential candidates to discuss blockchain and cryptocurrency.

The campaign has received strong support from the crypto community, raising over $2 million from over 80,000 investors. The primary goal is to create a clear regulatory framework that will enable the cryptocurrency industry to thrive, benefiting the millions of cryptocurrency users in the U.S.

The event is not solely dedicated to cryptocurrency policies. It will also delve into various policy issues relevant to the cryptocurrency and blockchain communities. This is an important occasion for candidates to engage with these communities and address their concerns and priorities.

The Stand With Crypto is a nonprofit that advocates for clear crypto regulations. It is to be held on December 11 in New Hampshire before the U.S. general elections.

The meeting will allow the candidates to discuss their potential crypto policies in front of a crypto-focused audience. The audience will also be able to submit questions to the speakers for the sake of clarity.

It is uncertain whether President Biden has been invited to participate in the forum or declined, even though he is expected to run for re-election.

Some candidates, like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Vivek Ramaswamy, have made cryptocurrency an essential component of their campaigns.

However, others like Donald Trump have not been as outspoken on the subject.

It will be interesting to see how the candidates approach the forum and what they choose to focus on.

The crypto community is eager to hear from the candidates, but it's important to keep an open mind and consider the full range of issues discussed.

With all that's said, cryptocurrency and blockchain are clearly on the top of the list, even in the political community.
