In August, Paris Hilton announced that her company, 11:11 Media, would launch a metaverse in The Sandbox. It would be a space where she hosts events and experiences for her fan. This includes rooftop parties and DJ concerts in her virtual Malibu Mansion.
The actor has been invested in NFTs since 2016. Her last major outing was Paris Hilton World on Roblox. She launched it on New Year’s and hosted a party where her virtual avatar played a DJ. According to the platform, her world has been visited by over 500,000 fans, and the number has only gone up since August.
Paris Hilton is also planning to launch a collection of digital wearables and other assets in the form of NFTs from The Sandbox. In an interview with CNBC, she mentioned how there are multiple projects and partnerships with various brands planned for her new metaverse.
