Elon Musk, Changpeng Zhao mix
Elon Musk/CZ

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has recently unfollowed Tesla and SpaceX billionaire Elon Musk for unknown reasons. The two parties can pass off as friends as they have always supported each other in their tech dealings.

The latest reference can be traced to when Elon Musk wanted to buy Twitter, and Changpeng Zhao had to donate about half a billion US dollars to support the deal. However, a recent turn of events hints that the two billionaires might have fallen out after CZ unfollowed Elon Musk on Twitter. Unfollowing the Tesla billionaire means CZ won't see Elon Musk’s tweet again on the platform.

While Elon Musk and CZ have not said anything about the new changes to their social media following, Twitter users have already started giving opinions on what might have caused the raffle between the two. Especially crypto Twitter, many of them have propagated theories of what might have led to the fallout between the two.

Twitter Snubbing Binance

According to one of the many theories, Changpeng Zhao might have even distanced himself and his company from Twitter after Elon Musk's Twitter made some new integrations. According to a Twitter user named Lucra, CZ's actions might have been because Twitter proceeded to make some collaborations with eToroUS (a social investments company for crypto and other financial instruments) to be the social network’s partner crypto exchange instead of Binance.

The user speculated that this might have been the reason the Binance CEO decided to take a break from the Twitter owner. However, these are just speculations, as nothing from Elon Musk’s tweets or CZ's has shown confirmation.

"Because Elon invited @eToroUS to be Twitter's crypto exchange instead of Binance, even though it was CZ who helped fund his acquisition of Twitter," the Twitter user named Lucra claimed

However, the collaboration Twitter had with eToro is a promising one as it will allow Twitter users to access stocks and crypto from Twitter easily. eToro focuses mainly on stocks and does not offer as many cryptocurrencies as Binance on their platform. Conversely, Binance focuses primarily on cryptocurrencies and has little or no stocks on its platform. However, Binance seems to be in more legal and regulatory problems than eToro at the moment. This theory is yet to be proved, as the respective parties involved in the matter are yet to speak about it.

Will Twitter Integrate a Pepe Wallet?

It is obvious that Elon Musk has a major influence on the crypto industry, to the extent that his tweets are monitored to know what else is happening in the crypto industry. Especially for meme coins, Elon Musk is a meme sharer himself and is always monitored by crypto users to know which coin he will be influencing next.

The billionaire posted a Pepe-related meme on his Twitter page, and this has made many crypto enthusiasts start leaning toward the Pepe token.

The billionaire has not made any statement concerning the new Pepe token, as he claims to be a big fan of Dogecoin. But a rumor being spread by a Twitter user named Pauly0x claims that Twitter is about to launch a new wallet, and the native currency for that crypto wallet will be the Pepe token.
